Teaching

I’ve taught physics at every level — from freshman laboratories to doctoral courses — across Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the United States, and I’ve built graduate programs and research groups from the ground up. Teaching, for me, isn’t separate from research: both are just careful ways of asking how the world works.

Graduate supervision

I established computational-materials-science research groups at Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University and at Zewail City’s Center for Fundamental Physics, and I’m building one now at GUC. Students supervised or co-supervised:

Building programs

At Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University I led the creation of two Master’s programs — Nanotechnology and Biotechnology — and initiated PhD programs in materials science and biotechnology in partnership with universities in the US and the Netherlands.
